Quality hotel in Candia, Greece

The tourists chose this hotel themselves. It was offered as a package only by one Polish tour operator.

Cons: if flying into Athens, the transfer is long — about 180 km. Also, the location is such that there’s nothing around the hotel, so you have to be satisfied with what’s available on site. If really needed, it’s a 10-minute drive to the town.

Everything else is great.

The hotel is very comfortable. Sandy-pebble beach. Easy entry into the sea, though there are some stones. The sea is clear.

Very good, high-quality food. The kitchen is oriented toward children of all ages. One family had a sick child, and the chef prepared a special meal for them free of charge.

The hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis. Tourists also noted that cocktails and alcohol overall were better than in Turkey (though I don’t know which Turkish hotels they stayed in before).

For children, there are swimming lessons. Great pool.

They also praised the excellent spa with a wide range of services. There is a hammam.
